Apple 5K Run
Date and Time: Saturday, September 21, 2019, 8:00 AM.
The Apple 5K Run and Walk will be through the streets of Jackson, OH. using CHIP Timing and Finish Line Photos. Timing and results provided by itsyourrace.com. Registration available at www.itsyoursource.com. The race is sponsored and conducted by the Jackson Area Kiwanis Club. Kiwanis members will direct the race and coordinate traffic. The male and female runners are groups are as follows: 3-6, 7-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-25, 26-30, 31-35, 36-40, 41-46, 47-54, 55 and over. One award for first walker, and walkers must walk the entire course without running.
The race starts ad finishes at the small stage of the Jackson Apple Festival located near the intersections of E. Main and Church Streets across from Coll Auto Sales. The course takes runners on a scenic tour of Jackson. The course is rolling with no major hills.
Registration is $25.00 and includes a tee shirt. Race day registration starts at the small stage at 7:00 AM on Saturday, September 21st.
Special awards for first overall male and female runners and first walker. Medals to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each above running age group. No duplication of awards.
The Jackson Area Kiwanis Club supports many community events and charities within Jackson County. The Jackson Area Festivals and Events (JAFE), conducts the annual Jackson Apple Festival and supports many community events and charities in Southeastern Ohio.
